Somehow tropical and oatmeal seem to
be an oxymoron, but this is really good, and somehow lighter than most
oatmeal    Ready to eat when you want it.    
Tropical Overnight Oatmeal 
¾
 cup oatmeal - steel cut, regular or
quick cook
2
½  cups milk
8
ounce can of crushed pineapple
3T
brown sugar
¼
cup chopped macadamia nuts
¼
cup flaked coconut (for topping) or to taste
Night before:
Stir all ingredients except coconut together
in an oven proof casserole.  Cover with foil, the put lid over that. 
Put casserole in the oven at 180 degrees overnight.  
Next morning:
Serve whenever you wish, sprinkling coconut
over each serving
