Turkish Breakfast

I am currently in Turkey, staying with Rotarians that live here, and have been delighted with the breakfasts they have.  It is tasty, ever varying, healthful, and the perfect breakfast in a hurry.
Follow this link to the instructions:

Turkish Breakfast
Mandatory:
  • Sliced French bread, whole wheat bread, or rolls.  Room temperature or toasted.
  • Cheese.  Any kind, at least 2.    String cheese is popular, along with feta,  blue cheese, some Monterey Jack-like cheese, cream cheese, other cheeses in small chunks
  • Peeled cucumber and fresh tomatoes
  • Olives (at least 2 varieties)
To this you can add any of the following:
  • Olive oil, plain or spiced
  • Butter
  • Jam
  • Plain yogurt, preferably Greek-style
  • More olives
  • Honey
  • Walnuts
  • Caviar
  • Dates
  • Dried plums
  • Fried sliced sausage
  • Boiled egg

Night before:
Prep and put in small dishes, refrigerate.

Next morning:
Put on the table, enjoy.

NOTES:
  •   When breakfast is done, cover with foil any dishes with enough left to serve again.  Next day’s breakfast already half made….
