* Oven you can set to turn on at a specific time
* Griddle that spans two burners on your stove
* Toaster oven
* Blender
* Microwave
* Food Processor

Sneaky Banana French Toast


Eggs, bread and fruit in one easy recipe.

Sneaky Banana French Toast
  • 1½  cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • 2T sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 8 slices whole wheat bread (if large and dense slices, use 6)

Night before:
  Nothing needed
 
Next morning:
  Heat griddle, then grease
   Put all ingredients except bread in a blender.  Blend until smooth.  Pour onto a plate, and dip each side of a piece of bread into the mixture, then put on griddle.  Repeat for all other slices.   If any of the liquid is left, pour over the raw side of the cooking bread.  Cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
  Serve with syrup and butter.
 
NOTES:
·         Add a little coconut, and/or pineapple to the blender for Tropical French toast.
