Walnut Berry Oven Oatmeal

There is something about the tart berries, crunchy walnuts and brown sugar that makes this a sublime concoction.  Way too easy, and ready when you want it.

Follow this link to the recipe:

Walnut Berry Oven Oatmeal
¾  cup oatmeal - steel cut, regular or quick cook
3 cups milk
¼ cup of Trader Joes raisin berry dried fruit mix
¼ cup chopped walnuts
¼ cup  brown sugar (optional)

Night before:
Stir all ingredients together in an oven proof casserole.  Cover with foil, the put lid over that.  Put casserole in the oven at 180 degrees overnight.

Next morning:
Serve whenever you wish, sprinkling dried fruit, walnuts and brown sugar over it.

Notes:
Equally good with other dried fruits and nuts.
