Cottage Cheese Bread

You MUST have a bread machine, if you are dedicated to quick breakfasts.  Waking up to the smell of fresh bread is one of the real pleasures of life.  This bread is loaded with protein, and simply delicious.

For the recipe, follow this link:
Cottage Cheese Bread

• 1 egg, beaten
• 11/4 cup cottage cheese
• 2T butter
• ¼ cup milk
• 2T sugar
• ¼ cup wheat germ
• 2 ¾ cup flour
• 1 envelope yeast (2 ½ tsp)

Night before:
Add ingredients in order listed to bread machine

Either cook immediately, or set machine to come on in time to finish 30 minutes before you plan to eat it. Use the time delay only on very cool evenings, or if it will sit for only a couple of hours.  You may omit eggs to be on the safe side.

Next morning:
Slice and serve with butter and jam, or cheese, or spread more cottage cheese on top. This bread is also delicious toasted.

NOTES:
• Add a teaspoon of dill for a different flavor.
