A French Breakfast

Croissants, cheese, butter and jam makes a very traditional French breakfast.  I went with a friend to Paris for a week, and we ate this every morning, in huge quantities, then walked 10 miles a day.  Lost no weight, but was worth it to wallow in flaky pastries.
Follow this link to the recipe:
French breakfast

  • Croissants – I get mine at Costco, and they are wonderful
  • Cheese – I like Havarti, which is Danish rather than French, but a great creamy cheese. Use whatever you want.
  • Butter
  • Jam

Night before:
No work at all

Next morning:
.Preheat over to about 275 degrees, then heat croissants for about 5 minutes

NOTES:

  • If you wish, you can use good sliced French bread instead – far less fat, but not quite the same.
