Apple cheese quesadilla

Amazingly complex in taste; really, really easy to make.  My husband was dubious, but liked them a lot.
Follow this link to the recipe:
Apple cheese quesadilla
  • 4 flour tortillas, 8 inch diameter
  • 2 apples, cored and sliced
  • White cheddar cheese, sliced thinly (Costco has a WONDERFUL white cheddar that lasts forever)

Night before:
Slice apples, store in plastic bag, with all air pressed out before sealing.
Set oven to preheat to 450° in the morning

Next morning:
Lay tortillas out on cookie sheet.
Arrange apple slices on half of the tortilla
Lay cheddar slices on apples
Fold tortilla half over apples and cheese
Put sheet in oven for 3 minutes, take out and turn quesadillas, then cook for another 2 – 3 minutes
Serve
.
NOTES:
·         Try sliced fresh peaches and havarti cheese for something different
