Ham and cheese crescents

Compact, delicious, can be eaten on the run if you must.
Follow this link to the recipe:
Ham and Cheese Crescents

  • 1 package Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 4  thin slices deli ham, more or less, depending on size

  • 4 slices American cheese

Night before:

Separate rolls along perforations, and lay each out.  Top with a half slice of ham and a half slice of cheese.  Arrange so that no filling extends over the edge of the dough.  Roll up tightly from the smallest end, and press a bit to seal edges.  Lay on lightly greased cookie sheet, and cover with foil or plastic wrap.  Refrigerate overnight.

Set oven to preheat to 375°  in the morning

Next morning:

.Remove wrap from tray, slide into oven, bake 10 – 12 minutes.

NOTES:
  • Can substitute other cheeses such as shredded cheddar or pepper jack
